RED Studio was brought on board to update and modernize many aspects of the inside and outside of this assisted living facility. Its large community space was redesigned to bring the outside in, emulating a park setting. Colour and light were carefully considered with respect to the user group, mitigating potential visual strains and improving the overall vibrancy of the space. Biophilic elements and other sensory features such as sound, air flow, and texture were woven into the design.
